In conjunction with the International Women’s Day, I have been reflecting on how I can live more consciously and purposefully. What the past has taught me is that it is important to be mindful because our experiences are shaped by our intent.
In general I have always been an optimistic person, but it wasn’t until I had to face some deep pain and hardship that I realised that happiness was a choice. Every day and every moment that we live and breathe on this earth is an opportunity to exercise that choice.
As I write this, I’m on my way to The Spa & Gym by Hilton Kuala Lumpur– a wellness retreat that promises to reset and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit with an array of signature treatments. I look forward to starting this next decade of my life by becoming more in tune with my body, aligning my soul with my thoughts and words, and becoming more purposeful in my goals and pursuits.

Today and every day, I want to live an inspired life, one in which my actions resonate with what I know is for the highest good. My hope is that by bringing you stories of others who are pouring their energies into serving their highest good , you too will be inspired to listen more closely to your inner being, move about your life more intentionally and strive to choose joy whenever possible.
Till next time,
Ching Yee
